Astrological Football Forecast for the World Cup: 15th June Spain vs Cape Verde

On to group H, where Spain are odds-on favourites to win against Cape Verde.

As favourites, Spain are represented by the Sun (1st house ruler) and Venus (ruler of the 10th house).

Cape Verde have Saturn (7th house ruler) and Mars (4th house ruler) as their significators.

Mars is placed just inside the 10th house: This shows one on Cape Verde’s significators captured by Spain’s house of victory (the 10th house).

In the absence of any other testimonies, this suggests a convincing win for the favourites, Spain.

Astrological Football Forecast for the World Cup 2026: 13th June Brazil vs Morocco

Our first Group C match features Brazil, who are favourites to win against Morocco in New Jersey this Saturday.

Brazil have Mars (ruler of the 1st house) and Mercury (10th house ruler) as their significators.

Venus and Jupiter (rulers of the 7th and 4th houses respectively) represent Morocco.

Mars (for Brazil) is placed on the cusp of the 7th house (Morocco): This is the only testimony of note in the chart, which suggests that Brazil will dominate the match. Unless they squander their advantage, this should translate into a win for the favourites.

Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: 18th January 2026 Aston Villa vs Everton

Please note: All charts are calculated for U.K. time (currently GMT)

This promises to be an eventful game: The Moon (who describes how the events of the match unfold) has lots to do in this chart.

She first applies to sextile Saturn (lord of the 7th house, representing underdogs Everton).

Next, the Moon opposes the Part of Fortune (another testimony for Everton) before finally applying to conjunct the Sun (ruler of the 1st house, for favourites Aston Villa). This is the final aspect the Moon makes in the sign of Capricorn and, being a conjunction, is doubly powerful. It should be strong enough to award the match to the favourites.

However, Venus (ruler of the 4th house, the house of victory for the underdogs), shows that Everton will play well and do their best to frustrate Villa’s hopes. Although the favourites have the edge in this game, the result promises to be much closer than the pundits expect.

Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: 13th December 2025 Burnley vs Fulham

The favourites (Fulham) are represented by the rulers of the 1st and 10th houses, while the underdogs (Burnley) are represented by the rulrs of the 7th and 4th houses.

This gives Saturn (7th lord) and Mercury (4th lord) as significators for underdogs Burnley.

Jupiter (10th lord) represents Fulham, but because the Moon (lord of the 1st house) is already occupied describing the flow of events during the match, Venus (the Moon’s dispositor) steps in as a substitute significator for the favourites.

The Moon’s only significant aspect (over the 5-degree orb considered most effective in 90-minute football matches) is a sextile to Venus (substitute 1st house ruler).  This suggests the favourites will win.

However, Venus is combust (within 8 degrees of the Sun).  This is a severe debility for Fulham, which counts as a testimony in favour of underdogs Burnley.  Fulham are unlikely to play at their best; a situation which Burnley may be able to turn to their advantage: A victory for Burnley is unlikely, as there are no other testimonies in their favour, but a draw may be possible.

Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Sunday 19th October 2025 Spurs vs Aston Villa

Please Note: This chart is cast for BST (British Summer Time) which is one hour ahead of GMT

Hosts Tottenham Hotspur are tipped to win in front of a home crowd this Sunday, but do the heavens agree?

As favourites, Spurs are chiefly signified by Saturn, ruler of the 1st house.  They have Mars, ruler of the 10th house (the house of victory for the favourites) as their co-significator.

As the underdogs in this match, Aston Villa are represented by the rulers of the 7th and 4th houses. The 7th house is ruled by the Moon, who (in this chart) already has a key role describing the events of the match.  Because of this, her dispositor is called to step in as substitute ruler of the 7th house. The Moon is in Libra, ruled by Venus, so Venus is dispositor of the Moon.  As she also rules the 4th house (the house of victory for the underdogs) Venus is therefore the only significator for Aston Villa in this match.

Venus is also the only planet aspected by the Moon over the 5-degree orb considered most effective for 90-minute football matches:  This gives Aston Villa a strong advantage.  It is likely that they will perform far better than the pundits expect.  The Moon and Venus are applying towards a conjunction; an aspect strong enough to decide the result of the match.

The only lunar aspect to benefit Spurs is a trine to the antiscion of Mars (at 11 Aquarius 21).  The Moon must travel over 6-degrees to perfect this aspect: If Spurs are to gain control of this match, they must take advantage of a chance which will occur in the latter stages of the game, possibly in extra time.

Overall, this contest chart strongly favours Aston Villa.  They will have the advantage, and Spurs will need both skill and luck to make any impression on the result.

Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Sunday 31st August 2025 Liverpool vs Arsenal

Please Note: This chart is cast for BST (British Summer Time) which is one hour ahead of GMT

At the time of writing, the odds favour a Liverpool win, but by a very small margin.  Many pundits think a draw likely.  What do the heavens say?

As favourites, Liverpool are signified by Jupiter (ruler of the 1st house) and Mars (ruler of the 10th house).

The rulers of the 7th house (Mercury) and 4th house (Venus) signify opponents Arsenal.

In his book “Sports Astrology”, John Frawley notes that (in contest charts) the Moon’s aspects give the result of the match more often than any other testimony.  Here, the Moon applies to a sextile with Mars (ruler of the 10th house, the house of victory for the favourites).

As the only testimony of note, this points to a win for Liverpool.

Astrological Football Forecast for the new Premier League season 2025-2026: 15th August 2025 Liverpool vs Bournemouth

Please Note: This chart is cast for BST (British Summer Time) which is one hour ahead of GMT

The first Premier League game of the new season sees Liverpool as odds-on favourites to win at home against Bournemouth:  Do the heavens agree?

Favourites Liverpool are represented by Saturn (lord of the 1st house) and Jupiter (lord of the 10th house, the house of victory for the favourites).

Rivals Bournemouth are signified by the Sun and Mercury (the rulers of the 7th and 4th houses respectively).

Pluto, placed close to the 1st house cusp, seems keen to get our attention.  In his book “Sports Astrology” John Frawley observes that Pluto appears to have a grudge against the favourites.  However, in this chart, retrograde Pluto is moving away from the 1st house and may already be far enough away to limit his baleful influence.  It could also be that Pluto casts his shadow over past events, describing Liverpool’s recent loss to Crystal Palace in the UEFA Super Cup final earlier this week.

Mercury, ruler of the 4th house (the house of victory for the underdogs) sits on the 7th house cusp.  This does not guarantee a win for Bournemouth but does suggest they are in good form and will play well: This testimony is a significant boost to their fortunes.

The Moon applies to square the Sun (ruler of the 7th house, for Bournemouth).  The aspect is wider than the 5-degree orb considered most reliable for a 90-minute football match, but suggests that the longer the match continues, the greater Bournemouth’s chances of winning.

The Sun (for Bournemouth) applies to oppose the antiscion of the Part of Fortune (at 28 Aquarius 09).  This, as with the other testimonies in this chart, favours Bournemouth and is a sign that Liverpool will have a tougher game than expected.

Most aspects in this chart are at a wide orb: The second half of the game will prove more significant than the first, and extra time is very possible.
