Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Saturday 9th May 2026 Manchester City vs Brentford

Please note: Chart is calculated for British Summer Time (BST). which is 1 hour in advance of GMT/UST

Manchester City, the odds-on favourites, have just one significator, Venus (ruler of the 1st house). The Moon (ruler of the 10th house, the house of victory for the favourites) is already occupied describing the events of the match so cannot be City’s co-significator on this occasion.

Opponents Brentford have Mars (ruler of the 7th house) and Saturn (ruler of the 4th house, the house of victory for the underdogs) as their representatives for this match.

As is often the case, the Moon’s aspects hold the key to the result: She applies to trine Venus (1st house ruler), a strong testimony for the favourites.

The Moon’s next aspect is a sextile to Mars (7th house ruler), a testimony which favours Brentford. Although the orb of aspect is beyond the 5-degree orb considered most reliable for 90-minute football matches, it suggests that Brentford will be at their most dangerous during the latter stages of the match, especially if the game strays into extra time.

Overall, this contest chart favours the favourites, which the pundits consider to be Manchester City, provided they remain on their guard against the possibility of a late challenge from Brentford.

Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Sunday 3rd May 2026 Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace

Please note: Chart is calculated for British Summer Time (BST). which is 1 hour in advance of GMT/UST.

Mercury (ruler of the 1st house) represents the favourites, whilst Venus (ruler of the 10th house, the house of victory for the favourites) is their co-significator.  Jupiter, ruler of the 7th house, denotes their rivals, who have Mars (ruler of the 4th house, the house of victory for the underdogs) as their co-significator.

This contest chart is notable for its lack of strong testimonies in favour of either team.  This does not mean that the game itself will be uninteresting, but it does make it more difficult to forecast a result.

The only testimony of note is an applying sextile between the Moon and the antiscion of the Part of Fortune (at 05 Libra 06): This favours the favourites.

Bournemouth, who have the home advantage and are currently 7th in the table to Crystal Palace’s 13th are odds-on favourites to win. However, experience (if not astrology) has taught that any match involving Crystal Palace has a measure of unpredictability, so the result could prove closer than the pundits expect.

Astrological Football Forecast FA Cup Semi-Final Special: 25th April 2026 Manchester City vs Southampton

Please note: Chart is calculated for British Summer Time (BST). which is 1 hour in advance of GMT/UST.

As favourites, Manchester City are signified by Venus (Lord of the 1st house). The Moon, ruler of the 10th house (the house of victory for the favourites) is already spoken for describing the events of the match, so Venus is City’s sole significator.

Mars, ruler of the 7th house and Saturn ruler of the 4th house, represent opponents Southampton. Saturn placed in the 7th house, close to the house cusp,  is a positive sign for the underdogs. It does not guarantee that they will win but suggests they will prove strong opposition.

However, in the absence of other significant testimonies, the placement of Saturn is a warning to the favourites that they should be on their guard against a spirited performance from Southampton, who will be ready to turn any opportunity to their advantage.

Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Saturday 18th April 2026 Chelsea vs Manchester United

Please note: Chart is calculated for British Summer Time (BST). which is 1 hour in advance of GMT/UST.

At the time of writing, hosts Chelsea have the confidence of the bookies, and are currently odds-on favourites to win.  But do the heavens agree?

As favourites, Chelsea are represented by Venus (ruler of the 1st house) and the Sun (ruler of the 10th house, the house of victory for the favourites).  Their opponents, Manchester United, have Mars (ruler of the 7th house) and Saturn (ruler of the 4th house, the house of victory for the underdogs) as their significators.

The Sun, ruler of the 10th house (the house of victory for the favourites) hovers closely over the cusp of the 7th house (the house of Chelsea’s rivals in this match, Manchester United). Although this does not guarantee victory for the favourites, it does suggest that they will dominate the match and is a great boost to their prospects.

The Moon disagrees:  She immediately applies to oppose the Part of Fortune, a strong testimony for the underdogs.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United have powerful testimonies in their favour, a sign that the result may be closer than expected.

The Moon makes one other aspect of note: A conjunction with Venus, ruler of the 1st house.  This would guarantee a win for the favourites, were the aspect not beyond the 5-degree orb considered most reliable for 90-minute football matches.  However, with extra time a possibility, a last-minute opportunity for the favourites may prove advantageous.

One more point of note: A very late degree (29 Libra 20) rises, making it all the more important that this match kicks off on time.  If the start is delayed by 5 minutes or more, a new sign (Scorpio) will be on the ascendant.  The Sun will no longer dominate the 7th house cusp, nullifying the most powerful testimony in favour of the favourites.  The Moon will still apply to oppose the Part of Fortune, inclining the chart more strongly to favour the underdogs.  With Taurus now on the cusp of the 7th house, the last minute advantage shown by the Moon’s late applying conjunction with Venus (ruler of Taurus) will now also favour the underdogs.

This chart beautifully illustrates how crucial accurate timing is to the result of contest charts. It will be interesting to see how this plays out at Stamford Bridge this Saturday.

Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Saturday 11th April 2026 Liverpool vs Fulham

The favourites are signified by Mercury, ruler of the 1st and 10th houses. Jupiter, ruler of the 7th and 4th houses, stands for the underdogs.

Mercury (for the favourites) hovers over the cusp of the 7th house. This indicates that the favourites will dominate the action. It does not guarantee that they will necessarily win the game, but it does strongly favour their chances.

The Moon makes no direct aspect to either Mercury (favourites) or Jupiter (underdogs) but does apply to trine the Antiscion of Jupiter at 13 Gemini 29. An aspect by Antiscion is not as reliable as a bodily aspect but is still positive for the underdogs. As this aspect is near the 5-degree orb considered most reliable for a 90-minute football match, it suggests a late chance for the underdogs.

At the current time of writing, Liverpool are odds-on favourites to win. If the bookies are correct, our contest chart suggests they will dominate the game.

However, Liverpool must be alert to a late challenge from underdogs Fulham. If unchecked, this may turn the tables on the favourites and dash their hopes of victory.

Astrological Football Forecast for Saturday 21st March 2026: Leeds vs Brentford

The pundits expect this to be a close match, with many predictions favouring a draw. But what do the heavens say?

Venus, ruler of the 1st house, is a captive of the 7th house and placed very close to the 7th house cusp: The team signified by the 1st house (the favourites or home team, depending on your preferred method) will find their hopes of victory dominated by the team represented by the 7th house (the underdogs or visitors). This is the only testimony of reliable significance in this contest chart.

The Moon, whose aspects decide the winner of contest charts more often than any other testimony, makes no aspects over the 5-degree orb considered most reliable for 90-minute football matches. When she travels a little further (over 7 degrees) she makes a sextile to Mars (ruler of the 7th house) suggesting a possible late advantage for the underdogs/visitors, especially if the match strays into extra time.

This contest chart does not suggest a draw: Instead it favours the team described by the 7th house. But which team is this?

The bookies odds mostly favour Leeds to win, which makes Brentford the underdogs and the team described by the 7th house.

Brentford are the visiting side, which would also award them the 7th house and the likelihood of victory.

However, a glance at the Premiership table shows Brentford in 7th place with 45 points, leading Leeds at 15th with just 35 points: This might suggest that Leeds, not Brentford are the stronger side.

It will be interesting to test these theories in the light of Saturday’s result!

Astrological Football Forecasts for the Premier League: Sunday 15th March 2026 Manchester United vs Aston Villa

Chart is cast using UST/GMT

Manchester United are the bookie’s favourites to win this Sunday’s match against Aston Villa. But are the bookmaker’s odds an accurate reflection of their chances, especially as the teams are equally well placed in the table, with 51 points each?

Perhaps the contest chart can throw further light on the situation.

As favourites, Manchester United are represented by the Sun, while Saturn (traditional ruler of Aquarius and ruler of the opposing 7th house) is chief significator for their rivals, Aston Villa.

For their co-significators, these teams are represented by Mars and Venus (rulers of the 10th and 5th houses respectively).

The only truly significant testimony in this chart is the close application of the Moon to conjunct the 7th house cusp. In his book “Sports Astrology”, John Frawley notes that “Moon applying to or close inside the 1st or 10th cusp: victory goes to the favourite. Moon applying to or close inside the 7th or 4th cusp: victory goes to the underdog”. With the Moon on the 7th cusp in our current contest chart, things look highly positive for the underdogs.

So the underdogs will have a much better game than expected. But who are the underdogs? A greater number of football fans have backed Manchester United to win, but is their loyal enthusiasm for their team a reliable guide?

In matches such as these, where the two teams have equal points on the table, we could use another favourite astrological method for assigning the houses: Give the 1st and 10th house to the home team, and the 7th and 4th houses to the visitors. Using this method, the testimony of the Moon still favours visitors Aston Villa.

This chart has little to say, except that the least favoured or visiting team is going to have a much better game than expected. The Moon in a team’s house is described by Frawley as “a big surge of energy towards the team, almost as if the cosmos is cheering for it”. It seems that, in this game, the heavens themselves will be the 12th man on the pitch, helping the cause of the underdogs.

Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Saturday 28th February 2026 Bournemouth vs Sunderland

Currently placed 8th in the table, to Sunderland’s 12th place, hosts Bournemouth are hotly tipped by the bookies to win this Saturday. But does the contest chart agree?

As favourites, Bournemouth are signified by the 1st house and its ruler. The sign Cancer rises, which is ruled by the Moon. As the Moon already has a role describing the events of the match, her dispositor, the Sun, steps in as substitute. The Sun applies to conjunct the cusp of the 10th house (the house of victory for the favourites): The orb of aspect could be closer (within 2 degrees is ideal) but this is an excellent testimony for Bournemouth, as it shows victory is within their grasp.

Furthermore, retrograde Jupiter (the ruler of the 10th house of victory) is placed in the 1st house and applies to conjunct the 1st house cusp. With strong testimonies in their favour, Bournemouth could be forgiven for thinking that the match is already in the bag.

Are there any corresponding testimonies which argue the case for Sunderland? Not really: Saturn (7th house ruler and main significator for Sunderland) separates from a close conjunction with Neptune. In contest charts, Neptune is unpredictable at best, and often unhelpful, so this testimony is more likely to count against Sunderland than assist their cause.

Mercury, ruler of the 4th house (the house of victory for the underdogs) is under the sunbeams (within 15 degrees of the Sun) and moving closer to combustion due to his retrograde motion. This is another debility for Sunderland.

The Moon applies to oppose Pluto, who is known to have a grudge against the favourites. This testimony is unlikely to be enough to swing the match in Sunderland’s favour, but suggests they may play well enough to stop Bournemouth having everything their own way.

However, the Moon’s next aspect, a trine to the Part of Fortune, again favours the favourites Bournemouth.

The contest chart agrees with the bookies: The odds seem stacked in favour of the favourites.
