According to the bookies, Tottenham Hotspur are hot favourites to win. But do the heavens agree?
Saturn (lord 1) and Jupiter (lord of the 10th house, the house of victory for the favourites) represent Spurs.
As the Moon already has a role describing the events of the match, Mercury, her dispositor, steps in as substitute significator for Everton. As Mercury also rules the 4th house (the house of victory for the underdogs), he is the sole representative for Everton in this match.
The Moon applies to oppose Saturn, lord of the 1st house. Despite the challenging nature of the aspect, this is a positive sign for the favourites, Spurs.
Retrograde Pluto (who, John Frawley observes, seems to hold a grudge against the favourites) is menacingly close to the 1st house cusp. His baleful influence is mitigated by his being in a different sign to the house cusp (the ascendant for the kickoff time is 29 Capricorn 07, whilst Pluto is in Aquarius). However, should the start of the match be delayed by three minutes or more, Pluto could spell real problems for Spurs.
To sum up, the heavens agree with the bookies : Provided the match starts on time, a win for the favourites is the most likely outcome. However, should a delay to the kickoff bring Pluto into play, the result is much less certain.
