The pundits slightly favour the Mavericks, who will have the home advantage. However, the Celtics have won both previous games. This makes it difficult to decide on the favourites for this game.
The favourites are awarded the 1st house and its ruler Jupiter, with Venus, ruler of the 10th house (house of victory for the favourites) as their co-significator.
Their opponents are represented by Mercury, ruler of the 7th house and Mars, ruler of the 4th house.
Mercury is combust: In previous games, this has proved a serious affliction for the underdogs.
With the Moon making no applying aspect over the 5-degree orb considered most effective in contest charts, and the Nodes placed too far away from the 10th and 4th house cusps (they need to be within 2 degrees), the affliction to Mercury (7th ruler) is the only significant testimony in this chart.
This favours the favourites: I will leave it to those more knowledgeable about the two teams to decide whether the home advantage will be sufficient to make the Mavericks favourites, or if past results favour the Celtics.

I used the color method for the games. So far I’m 3-0! In this game, I assigned the DSC to the Celtics, because they wore white color kit. The moon was applying a sextile to the antiscion of Mercury, which was the only testimony for the game.
