Astrological Football Forecast for the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final: 6th July 2025 USA vs Mexico

Please note:  All contest charts are cast for BST, hence the different date and time from that locally advertised.

The local kick off time for the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas is 6pm (Local Time) on 6th July 2025.

Both the USA and Mexico have earned their place in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final:  Mexico are favoured to win, but eight-times trophy victors USA will not make it easy for them.

As favourites, Mexico are signified solely by Jupiter (lord of the 1st house).  They would usually have the ruler of the 10th house (Mercury) as their co-significator, but (as ruler of the 7th house) he is busy representing their rivals, USA.

There are no testimonies in this chart which point clearly to a winner.

The Moon applies to sextile Saturn, who can prove a general hindrance to either (or both sides) if not occupied as a significator for one of the teams.

The next lunar aspect is a sextile to Neptune, who can also be the author of mischief when so inclined.

The Moon’s final aspect, (over the 5-degree reliable orb for 90-minute football match) is a sextile to Pluto.  John Frawley has observed that Pluto appears to have a grudge against the favourites, but that he is most effective when on a team house cusp, or aspecting the Part of Fortune, its antiscion or dispositor by conjunction or opposition. This is not the case here, but the aspect is worth noting in the absence of anything more convincing.

Jupiter (lord 1) is no longer combust (within approx 8 degrees of the Sun) but is still close enough (within 15 degrees) to be ‘under the sun beams’. This could prove an obstacle to the favourites, Mexico. It is only a weak affiction, but in a chart with so few other testimonies, it may be more significant.

Although this contest chart has little in the way of major testimonies, it does not mean the game will be dull:  Saturn and Neptune have it in their power to bring generalised mischief and upsets, while Pluto’s aspect to the Moon and Jupiter’s affliction by the Sun suggest that the favourites will not find victory easy.

A long-drawn out contest, possibly going to extra time and/or penalties is very possible.
