Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Sunday 31st August 2025 Liverpool vs Arsenal

Please Note: This chart is cast for BST (British Summer Time) which is one hour ahead of GMT

At the time of writing, the odds favour a Liverpool win, but by a very small margin.  Many pundits think a draw likely.  What do the heavens say? 

As favourites, Liverpool are signified by Jupiter (ruler of the 1st house) and Mars (ruler of the 10th house). 

The rulers of the 7th house (Mercury) and 4th house (Venus) signify opponents Arsenal.   

In his book “Sports Astrology”, John Frawley notes that (in contest charts) the Moon’s aspects give the result of the match more often than any other testimony.  Here, the Moon applies to a sextile with Mars (ruler of the 10th house, the house of victory for the favourites).   

As the only testimony of note, this points to a win for Liverpool.
