Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Saturday 7th February 2026 Newcastle vs Brentford

The Moon is void of course: She makes no further aspects in her current sign of Libra. This favours the favourites, Newcastle.

Furthermore, the Antiscion of the Part of Fortune (at 24 Leo 09) is conjunct the cusp of the 1st house (the house of the favourites). This also favours Newcastle.

However, Venus (ruler of the 10th house, representing Newcastle’s hopes of victory) is captured just inside the 7th house (the house of Brentford). This suggests that Brentford will do all they can to make things difficult for the favourites, and could restrict the number of goals Newcastle are able to score.

Both Venus (10th house ruler for Newcastle) and Mars (4th house ruler for Brentford) are both afflicted by combustion, (being within 8 degrees of the Sun). However, as the Sun has a key role in this chart as main significator for Newcastle, this is less likely to signify. Nevertheless, both teams are likely to experience this match as an uphill battle, with a corresponding restriction in the number of goals.

Overall, this promises to be a low-scoring game in which favourites Newcastle have a slight edge.

    1. Some you win, some you lose. Astrology is a learning process, and always educational; education and learning being the primary purposes of this blog (with hopefully some entertainment along the way). My reading of the chart was that the favourites would win, which didn’t happen: However the match was much closer than the pre-match odds suggested, as the contest chart described. Clearly the testimony of Venus (10th lord) captured by the 7th house (Brentford) outweighed the indications of the void of course Moon: Something I will take into account going forward. My view is that Astrology is a constant learning process, and all the more enjoyable for so being. Thank you for commenting 🙂
