Astrological Football Forecast for the Premier League: Tuesday 14th January 2025 Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool

This chart is cast for the Premier League match between Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool, which is due to kick off at 20:00 (8pm) GMT/UST on Tuesday 14th January 2025 at City Ground, Nottingham

Currently at the top of the table, Liverpool are masters of all they survey and are odds-on favourites to win against hosts Nottingham Forest this coming Tuesday.  However, the heavens suggest that these teams may be more closely matched than the pundits think. 

As favourites, Liverpool are signified by Mercury, lord of the 1st house. Their co-significator is Venus (lord of the 10th house, the house of victory for the favourites).  

Although they may enjoy a home advantage, Nottingham Forest are considered the team less likely to win and have Jupiter (lord of the opposing 7th house) and Mars (lord of the 4th house, the house of victory for the underdogs) as their significators. 

Using major aspects only, the Moon’s only aspect to any significator for either team is a sextile to Jupiter, lord 7; a testimony for Nottingham Forest.   

The Moon’s aspects describe the progress of events during the match.  As the sextile between the Moon and Jupiter occurs just beyond the limits of the 5-degree orb considered most reliable for 90-minute football matches, this aspect suggests a late opportunity for Forest, which becomes more likely if the match drifts into extra time.    

The antiscion of the Moon (at 24 Taurus 02) is in proximity to the cusp of the 10th house (the house of victory for the favourites).  As noted in John Frawley’s book “Sports Astrology”, the Moon or her antiscion placed here is a strong testimony of victory for the favourites.   

So we have one testimony for Nottingham Forest and one for Liverpool:  Of the two, the antiscion of the Moon’s placement on the 10th house cusp is the stronger and will probably give the favourites the winning edge.  However, Nottingham Forest will prove strong opposition and may have the chance to thwart Liverpool’s hopes for victory should the match stray into extra time.

  1. Disagree. I see this chart as a clear win for Nottingham due to Saturn having a near exact applying conjunct to Fortuna. It will be interesting to see how this one turns out

  2. Draws are such a nuisance. I guess we can both claim partial victory on this one.

    I have +650 underdog Tottenham upsetting Arsenal tonight, so we’ll see how that goes

  3. I’d like to give you an example chart that demonstrates three things that I have come to believe: 1. ASC goes to the home team, not to the underdog and 2. Part of Spirit (goes to the away team, NOT the underdog) is exceptionally important and Fortune/Spirit may be the most import feature of these charts 3. Contra Frawley, you must use day and night formulas for Fortuna/Spirit (although I am now back to agreeing with him that malefic lunar aspects to the lots do hurt the team they represent)

    Celtics @ Raptors; Toronto, Candada; 01/15/2025; 7:41 PM

    +700 underdog Toronto defeated the Celtics, possibly the best team in all of basketball. The game was in Toronto. Frawley would get around missing this upset by saying, “well, it’s just a regular game on a night where a billion other games were being played”, but that doesn’t work for me. This was such a massive upset that we would expect it to show up in a chart.

    And sure enough, if we assign the ASC to Toronto, the home team, we see that Pluto is smack on Part of Spirit. I normally don’t use Pluto but this is the 2nd chart in a week where I’ve seen it cause a huge upset so I reluctantly will make use of it from here on out.

    Frawley says that Pluto has a grudge against favorites but I don’t think that’s true. I think what happened is that there were games where Pluto was on the DSC when the away team was favored, so Frawley was incorrectly assigning the away team to the ASC and then thinking that Pluto on the DSC was having a reverse of it’s normal effect

    01/19/2025; Baltimore; 6:42 PM LT Ravens beat Bills (I forget the testimony I based this on)
