Shooting Stars 6th March 2021

In this week’s chart, the heavens incline towards the favourites.  But which team might that be?

Arsenal are odds on favourites to win this Saturday’s match against Burnley, but despite a convincing win against Leicester City last weekend, their recent form does not fully justify the bookie’s confidence.  Out of their last five Premier League games, they have only two wins to their credit. In contrast their hosts Burnley have only lost one out of their last five Premiership games and beat Arsenal in their most recent clash last December.

The favourites are described by the first house and the sign on the cusp:  Cancer rises with ruler the Moon already spoken for marking the progress of events, her dispositor Jupiter is substituted as their main significator.  Saturn, strongly placed in his own sign of Aquarius represents their opponents.

The only testimony of significance is the trine to the Part of Fortune, which favours the favourites.  But which team are they?  This highlights the only drawback in an otherwise reliable system of prediction: The dependence on the judgement of the bookmakers which, due to numerous factors, may not always be completely reliable.

On recent form, Burnley have as good a claim to the title as Arsenal and at the time of writing, are just one place below them in the table.  With just one reliable testimony in the chart, a draw is unlikely, but it will be interesting to see if the pundits assessment of a win for Arsenal is correct.
