Saturn (lord 1) and Mars (lord 10) represent the favourites, and Mercury (dispositor of and substitute for the Moon, lord 7) and Venus (lord 4) signify their rivals.
The Moon, which describes the flow of events during the match, applies to oppose retrograde Saturn. This is a positive testimony in favour of the favourites. As this is the only testimony of note in this chart, the favourites are likely to win.
The most difficult puzzle in this chart is determining who the favourites actually are. The English bookies tip England to win, but realistically, there may be very little to choose between England and the Netherlands, who seem equally matched.
The decisive nature of the lunar opposition with Saturn should at least spare both sides the anxiety of a penalty shootout, although the result is likely to be decided in the latter stages of the game.

For latter stages do you see that being the regular allotted game time or the potential of going into extra time sans the need for penalty shoot out ?
Also, it seems though bookies feel England to the favorites but the population to be rooting for Netherlands.
I guess time will only tell.

The Moon must travel almost the full 5 degrees of orb considered most effective in forecasting contest charts, which suggests the latter stages of the game will prove decisive in some way. Had the orb of aspect exceeded 5 degrees (anything up to a limit of 6 degrees) it would be a more reliable indicator of extra time. The question of which team are the true favourites in this case is more difficult to judge 🙂 Glad you are enjoying the posts! All good wishes, Louise
